Site #1.
4/4 articles posted.
Hit my goal.
Also, the site’s coming back up in terms of traffic.
The big reason for the recovery is tech related. Less crashes. New server.
Site #2
No articles posted.
Why? Well, I adjusted my goal a bit for this. Instead of having it a copy-cat version of site #1, I’m trying a new approach.
However, the big reason for the boost in traffic comes from 1 post. And that 1 post’s getting a lot of hits from Pinterest. Few of which, I think, convert.
Things to do:
- Optimize email marketing for both sites
- I already have it going on #1 but with 1 autoresponder.
- Push out more of that kind of article that seems to be driving traffic for site #2. Just for experiments sake.
Books I’m reading
Man, that one Robert Greene book sidelined my progress.
Once it came, i sidelined other stuff. And upon realizing that, I sidelined the Greene book. And now, I have a bunch of half started books that I’ve yet to finish. But there is one I finished:
Very fun book. Likely worth a re-read or two if you’re in the business of learning body language. Long story short, there are giveaways but they must be used in context. One movement doesn’t mean a person’s lying or nervous. There have to be more tells.
I’m also re-reading another book at night:
Yep, Arnold’s autobiography. And I dare say, this may be one of the best books I’ve read in the entrepreneurship/biography space. Better than Steve Jobs’ biography too. Why?
The guy’s just done a lot. He set it to do it and he got it done. And if you’re of a similar nature, like I am, you’ll find that inspiring. And, if you’re not surrounded by doers, this is serves as nice inspiration.
And the other books that I’ve started but didn’t finish?
Not worth mentioning until I finish them.
